President Obama leaves Las Vegas
LAS VEGAS -- After spending the weekend in Las Vegas, President Barack Obama left Nevada Sunday to return to Washington D.C.
Air Force One departed from McCarran International Airport around 10:45 a.m. Over the weekend, Obama stayed in Henderson and spent some time golfing at Reflection Bay Golf Club.
The president arrived in Las Vegas on Friday for and visited a Las Vegas High School to sign an executive order on immigration.
With him aboard Air Force One was a delegation of congressional Democrats including Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and Nevada U.S. Reps. Dina Titus and Steven Horsford.
The president says his executive order will protect as many as 5 million immigrants who are illegally in the United States from deportation.
