Fire Station Open House and Pancake Breakfast Set for April

Clark County Fire Station 20 will be opening its doors for an open house and pancake breakfast next month.

Clark County Commissioner Tom Collins, the fire department and Parks and Recreation Department will join together for the event set for Saturday, April 6.

The fire department hosts a fire station open house every other month at fire stations around the Las Vegas valley. This event is unique because it will include a pancake breakfast.

Residents will get a chance to tour the fire station and talk with firefighters, but they will also have a chance to learn important safety tips through agencies set to attend, including Safe Kids Coalition, Southern Nevada Child Drowning Prevention Coalition, the American Red Cross, Nevada Child Seekers and others.

There will also be staff from the District Attorney's Office, Metro Police and the county's Recorder Office and Department of Business Licenses available to answer questions.

The event will be from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. The fire station is at 5865 Judson Street, near Nellis and Lake Mead boulevards.
