Police Search for Bank Robbery Suspect

Metro Police are searching for a man that robbed a bank near Charleston Boulevard and North Lamb Boulevard.

The robbery happened on August 12. Police say the man walked into the bank, told everyone in Spanish to get down on the ground, showed the teller a semi-automatic handgun and demanded money. The teller gave the suspect a bag of cash and the man left. Police think this may be the same man who robbed a bank just down the block on Charleston Boulevard on August 5.

The suspect is described as an Hispanic man, 30 to 40 years old, 5 foot 8 inches tall with a heavy build. At the time of the robbery the man was wearing a blue baseball cap, a light blue polo shirt and sunglasses. If you have any information about the suspect call Metro Police Robbery Division at (702)828-3591 or to leave an anonymous tip call Crime Stoppers at 385-5555.
