Police Search for Robbery Suspect

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police are looking for a man who robbed a convenience store then shot several rounds from his gun into the store.

It happened May 29 at a store near Stewart Avenue and Eastern Boulevard. Police say the suspect walked into the store just after midnight. He pointed a gun at the people playing in the slot area ordering them to leave. When everyone left he pointed the gun at the clerk and demanded money. The clerk emptied the cash register and gave it to the suspect. The suspect then left the store but before jumping in his car he fired five shots at the store's front window.

The suspect is described as an Hispanic man between 18 to 20 years old. He's between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 8 inches tall and 150 to 160 pounds. He has black hair and sideburns. At the time of the robbery he was wearing a black Oakland Raiders cap, a black and white striped polo shirt, black shorts, white socks and white shoes. Witnesses say he may have left the scene in a dark hatchback.
