Police Searching for Suspect in 2 Bank Robberies

 

Metro Police are searching for a suspect in two different bank robberies.

The first robbery happened Monday at a bank near Nellis Boulevard and Harris Avenue. The second robbery happened Thursday at a bank near Decatur Boulevard and Oakey Boulevard.

Detectives from the Las Vegas Safe Streets Task Force - Robbery Section are asking for help from the public to track down the suspect 36-year-old Brian Reynolds.

Reynolds has several tattoos on his face. However, police say he does cover them up.

Two Women Arrested in Burglary and Shooting

 

Metro Police have arrested two women in connection with a burglary and shooting that happened last month in a home near Los Feliz Street and Stewart Avenue.

According to police, 19-year-old Ashley Garcia and 30-year-old Melissa Heath are facing charges of attempted murder, conspiracy to commit murder, burglary and burglary while in possession of the firearm.

The victim and his wife had gone to their son’s home in the 7200 block of Copper Road about 6 a.m. March 7. When they arrived, they found a car parked in the driveway. The victim started to walk up to the house but was confronted by one of the suspects.

The suspect got into a car and pulled out a handgun, police said. She then fired at the victim from inside the car. The bullet shattered the driver side window and hit the victim in the hand.

Metro Police is looking for two men in connection with the robbery of a business near Nellis Boulevard and Owens Avenue.

According to police, the men walked into the business just before 10 p.m., Thursday March 14. As one man walked in the door, an employee asked him to remove his hood. The man refused and pulled out a handgun. He put the gun to an employee’s head and demanded money. The employee complied. The second man acted as a lookout.

The first person is described as a black man who is about 20 years old. He is 5-foot-10 and 160 pounds. He has brown eyes. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a dark hoodie and dark jeans.

The second person is a black man between 18 and 20 years old. He is 5-foot-11 and 160 pounds. He has brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a dark colored hoodie with a diamond design, a gray and black Oakland Raiders beanie and dark pants.

Metro Police are searching for two men in connection with a robbery.

The robbery happened just before 7 p.m. Friday at a business near the intersection of Charleston and Nellis Boulevards.

According to police, the two men walked into the business and ordered the employee to turn over the money from the business. After getting the money, the men left.

The first man is a black man between the ages of 18 and 25. He is 6-foot-1 and 180 pounds. He was wearing a blue baseball cap with a light brim and logo above the brim, short-sleeved, striped shirt over a dark, long-sleeved shirt and dark jeans.

The second man is a black man between the ages of 18 and 25. He is 6-foot and between 160 and 170 pounds. He was unshaven with possibly a goatee. He was wearing a dark baseball cap with red at the brim, blue jacket with white writing on the front, dark jeans and dark shoes with white soles. He was carrying a blue backpack.

Metro Police are looking for three people in connection with a robbery.

The robbery happened just after 11 p.m. November 26 at a home near Mt. Hood Street and Lake Mead Boulevard.  

According to police, twenty minutes after the robbery, the people they're looking for went into a store and used one of the victim's bank card to buy some items.

The three people then left the store in a white, two-door pickup truck with a toolbox in the bed.

The first person police are looking for is described as a black woman between 18 and 19 years old. She is between 5-foot-5 and 5-foot-7 and between 130 and 140 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white headband, dark hooded jacket with a white lining and stripes down the sleeves and on the hood. She also had on red pants and white shoes.

Deep-Fried Gun Goes Off, Police Arrest Suspect

 

Metro Police are investigating a bizarre incident at a restaurant near Charleston Boulevard and Mojave Road.

It started when two men went to El Diamonte restaurant Sunday night. They were told it was closed. When they tried to leave, a man, who was armed with a handgun, came up to them in the parking and demanded to be paid.

The two men left the scene and called police. Police arrived and started evacuating the restaurant, when they heard a gunshot. Officers found the shot had come from a gun that had been tossed into a deep fryer in the kitchen.

One of the workers pointed out a man she said had been holding a gun before police got there. She said the man had asked her to hold the gun when the officers arrived, but she refused.

The attempted robbery victim came back to the restaurant and pointed out the man who had confronted him. Officers arrested the suspect.
