Scow to Hold Neighborhood Meeting Wednesday

Mary Beth Scow, a newly-elected Clark County Commissioner in District G, will host the first of several neighborhood meetings for residents within her district at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

The March 23 meeting will be held at Cora Coleman Senior Center, 2100 Bonnie Lane, which is located behind Bob Price Community Center on Bonnie Lane north of Lake Mead Boulevard.

"I look forward to meeting with residents and hearing their issues and concerns firsthand," Scow said. "This is the first of several neighborhood meetings we plan to hold in the next year so we can reach out to residents throughout District G."

Representatives from several agencies will join Scow on Wednesday, including Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, Clark County Public Works, Public Response, Development Services and Park Police. Residents who live in the northeast areas of District G are invited to attend the meeting.

Scow's next neighborhood meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 14 at Whitney Recreation Center, 5712 Missouri Ave., near Desert Inn Road.

Residents also are encouraged to sign up to receive District G’s newsletter for regular updates, and to call Scow’s office at 455-8531 with any questions or concerns.
