Alderman Hosts Neighborhood Meeting About Schools

Alderman Hosts Neighborhood Meeting About Schools

Clark County School District (CCSD) Trustee Lorraine Alderman will host another meeting time for residents to speak with her in an informal setting about topics of interest related to schools.

People may stop by to visit with Alderman between 9:30 and 11 a.m. Wednesday at the grocery store Marketon, 755 N. Nellis Blvd. It is near the intersection of N. Nellis Blvd and Harris Ave. A Spanish translator will be available at the event.

“By meeting in a neighborhood, I want to reach residents near where they live or work,” Alderman said. “It provides an opportunity for people to drop by without an appointment, and if they find this initial effort beneficial, I plan to hold similar events in other neighborhoods during the months ahead.”

You can view maps of the districts for the Board of School Trustees at http://ccsd.net/trustees.
