Suspect in Teacher Death Pleads Guilty | News
Title (Max 100 Charaters)
One of the people involved in the death of a local teacher pleaded guilty Thursday.
Bridget Lugo, 21, of Las Vegas pleaded guilty to charges of conspiracy in connection with the robbery and beating that lead to the death of 50-year-old teacher Timothy Vanderbosch. Vanderbosch was attacked while walking to Eldorado High School in October 2010. Metro Police say the group of teens robbed and beat him then left him in the street where he was hit and killed by a passing car. Police say Vanderbosch was targeted because he was dressed nicely. Six teens, including Lugo, were arrested after the attack on Vanderbosch. Police believe the group robbed four other people the same morning Vanderbosch was killed.
Another teen involved in the attack, 16-year-old Daniel Carrillo pleaded guilty earlier this year to second-degree murder charges. Sentencing for Lugo is set for February 2.
