Two Crashes Tie Up Traffic at Charleston and Lamb

LAS VEGAS -- Metro Police are investigating two crashes in the same area near Charleston and Lamb boulevards.

According to police, the first one happened around noon. A car hit a person crossing the street. The vehicle left the scene, but the victim was not seriously hurt.

The second crash happened moments later in the same area. The officer called to the original accident reported the second crash. A bicyclist was hit by a construction truck, the officer said.

There is no word on the seriousness of the second crash.

Eastbound lanes of Charleston Boulevard are closed for the investigation.
