LAS VEGAS -- The man accused in a deadly DUI crash had a previous DUI conviction in 2011, according to a state prosecutor.

Charles Washington, 70, appeared in Las Vegas Justice Court Tuesday morning. He is facing a felony DUI charge for a crash on Saturday that left a 3-year-old girl dead and her family members injured. Washington's truck rear-ended the family's car at Carey Avenue and Sandy Lane.

According to the arrest report, Washington had a blood alcohol level of .12. He told police he had drank beer and brandy prior to the crash.

Washington's bail was set at $300,000. He is due back in court on Dec. 15.
