Dogs rescued from house fire need homes
LAS VEGAS — Sixteen dogs that survived a house fire in late September in North Las Vegas are looking for their new homes, the Animal Foundation announced Monday. Another 30 dogs have "serious medical or behavioral conditions" and cannot yet be adopted.
Sadly, 41 dogs died in the blaze.
The dogs will be made available through the shelter's regular adoption process as kennels in the adoption area become available, it said.
The Animal Foundation also said it is currently at capacity and "is in need of adopters immediately — not only for these dogs, but for more than 400 other dogs and cats."
