Shelter Lowers Prices for Spaying and Neutering | Pets
Title (Max 100 Characters)
The Animal Foundation hopes to have more pets spayed and neutered with new lower prices for those procedures.
The shelter opened its low-cost spay and neuter clinic earlier this year after the city of Las Vegas passed an ordinance requiring animals to be altered. Now, it is lowering prices on those procedures
- Dog Spay (up to 25 pounds): $85
- Dog Spay (26-50 pounds): $95
- Dog Spay (51-80 pounds): $99
- Dog Neuter (to 80 pounds): $60
- Cat Spay: $65
- Cat Neuter: $30
The shelter is offering even lower prices for pit bulls and Chihuahuas. Starting Thursday through December 31, male and female pit bull surgeries will be just $60. Male and female Chihuahuas can be altered for $30, although restrictions may apply. The shelter has more of those two breeds than any other and most of them are not spayed or neutered when they arrive.
