Goodwill Opens New Store, Nearly Doubling Shopping Space
Goodwill opened the doors of its new store and donation center in eastside of the Las Vegas valley Friday.
The store moved to Nellis Boulevard and Stewart Avenue after years of operating at Nellis and Charleston boulevards.
It opened with a brief ribbon cutting ceremony. The first 100 customers received $5 off coupon. Officials with Goodwill expect about 1,000 shoppers by the end of the day.
The new stores feature more than 13,000 square feet of shopping space, which is nearly double the space of the old store, along with a new Kids Korner section filled with toys, books, clothing and shoes just for kids.
The new location also has an improved drop-off area.
